Up Your Lash Game With This Teeny Curler

This story originally appeared on Allure.

If you have naturally curly lashes, you probably take for granted the effort the rest of the world expends to get that I-got-eight-hours-of-sleep look. If you were born with stubby, straight, or otherwise unruly lashes, you know just how real the struggle is, especially if your eyes are shaped such that they don't get along with traditional eyelash curlers (think monolids). Up until now, the less lash-blessed have had to make do with repeated crimping and occasionally scary-sounding tips for heating up your lash curler, but that's all changing thanks to this nifty little tool.

The new Lash Star Beauty Individual Eyelash Curler ($29) looks like your tweezers and eyelash curler had a baby. To use it, you simply position the squishy pink cushion along the bottom of your lashes, then, like tweezers, just squeeze the two sides of the curler together. The small head can focus the curling pressure wherever you want it (like those couple of lashes at the outer corner that never quite fall in line, or that one rebellious lash right in the middle that stays stick-straight no matter what you do), and you can get right up close to the lash line without pinching. As an added bonus for those with ultrastraight lashes, this tool also fits under those teeny lashes on your lower lid (because we can't all be Bella Hadid).

While curling your lashes with this teeny tool might take a little longer than a classic full-strip curler, we have a feeling that those with hard-to-curl lashes will find it to be time well spent.
